DVD Writers was set up in 1999 as the first site of its kind (in the world as far as we know) to explore the DVD Writing market. Our aim is to provide up-to-date information to the public on drives from the top manufacturers and to give an unbiased opinion on each model.

We felt that CD Recorders had pretty much saturated the market and people would be interested in DVD recorders (as the only progression CD recorders were making at the time were cutting the recording times down by only 1-4 mins).

We are completely independant and we feel that we can give an unbiased opinion on the latest technology/hardware :)
